Jamie has been a financial planner and financial advisor for over 25 years, having joined the profession in 1999. After gaining valuable experience with two local Geelong financial planning firms, Jamie successfully established MAC Financial in 2009 with a strong focus on helping clients build long-term wealth and achieve financial freedom.
Jamie has worked closely with clients across Geelong, providing expert financial advice, personal financial planning and tailored wealth management strategies. He is passionate about helping individuals and families create financial security through structured planning and strategic wealth creation.
Over the years, Jamie has developed and implemented unique wealth programs that have helped clients achieve greater financial success than they first imagined. He finds great satisfaction in celebrating his clients’ achievements, especially when they reach financial freedom. For Jamie and his clients, financial freedom means building enough wealth so they don’t have to work if they don’t want to.
Qualifications and professional memberships
Jamie has completed his professional studies and is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and a member of the Financial Advice Association Australia (FAAA). Jamie is also a member of MDRT and actively involved in committee work with them.
Additionally, Jamie is also an Accredited Mortgage Broker and member of the FBAA. This dual expertise allows him to deliver both financial advice and tailored debt solutions, ensuring clients receive a complete and effective plan for building wealth and managing finances.

Outside of work
Jamie is a Life Member of the Newtown and Chilwell Football and Netball Club and continues to be actively involved in coaching his sons in junior football. He is married with four school-age children and enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf, and supporting the Geelong Cats.
