Supporting our local sporting club – Newtown & Chilwell Football Netball Club
MAC Financial have been proud supporters of the Newtown and Chilwell Football Netball Club since 2009. We are happy to donate time and funds to this wonderful community organisation that gives kids the opportunity to participate in football and netball in a team environment. The club is continually investing funds in the junior development and brings families together in their wonderful social facilities. We look forward to continuing our relationship with Newtown as MAC Financial provides advice to many families in the Newtown area.
Supporting kids in the community – The Mark West Foundation
In 1998 on ANZAC Day a friend and teammate of Jamie’s, Mark West died in a tragic on field accident at age 19 whilst playing senior Football for Newtown. Mark was an active contributor at Newtown and heavily involved with coaching juniors and helping the kids become better people and better footballers. This is a value that Jamie and Mark share. The Mark West Foundation was established with a primary mission to ensure no child in the greater Geelong region misses out on being able to play Australian Rules football due to financial reasons.
Jamie and MAC Financial are and will continue to be active supporters of the foundation giving time and money so together we can make a difference for the kids of Geelong who may not have been able to play football. We are proud to support the Foundation and see the outcomes of so many kids in the region being able to participate with new boots, shorts and memberships paid for by the funds raised by The Mark West Foundation.
MDRT Foundation
The MDRT Foundation is the charitable arm of the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT), a global, independent association of the world’s leading financial services and life insurance professionals from more than 700 companies in 80 nations and territories. MDRT membership is recognized internationally as the standard of excellence in the financial services and life insurance profession.
Jamie has been a member of MDRT since 2011 and donor to the MDRT Foundation. The MDRT Foundation and Jamie have partnered to support The Mark West Foundation with funding to support the great work that The Mark West Foundation does in the Geelong community. The MDRT Foundation gives to charitable organisations worldwide, demonstrating the generosity, service and impact of MDRT members. This past year, the MDRT Foundation awarded USD 1.7 million in grants to charities worldwide including a cash grant to the Mark West Foundation.
