Working with Pre-Retirees and Retirees

Jess joined MAC Financial as an intern in 2024 while completing her Bachelor of Commerce at Deakin University, majoring in Accounting and Financial Planning. Since then, she has progressed into a Financial Planning Associate role, where she enjoys supporting clients through every stage of the financial planning process.

Jess is particularly passionate about helping clients navigate retirement and enjoys working in areas such as Centrelink, pensions, aged care, and estate planning. She appreciates that these can be complex and often overwhelming areas and values being able to provide support during some of life’s most important transitions.

Building strong relationships with clients and helping them feel confident about their financial future is one of the most rewarding aspects of Jess’s role. She enjoys working alongside Jamie to understand each client’s unique circumstances and helping them work towards their goals with clarity and confidence.

Jess holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Deakin University, majoring in Accounting and Financial Planning, and enjoys continuing to expand her knowledge and skills within the financial advice profession.

Outside of work, Jess enjoys volunteering and being involved in the Geelong community, staying active through Pilates, spending time with family and friends, and you’ll often find her house and pet sitting.
