Jamie McIntyre
Jamie has been a financial planner for over 25 years having joined the profession in 1999. After gaining valuable experience with two local Geelong firms, Jamie successfully established MAC Financial in 2009 with the focus on building wealth for others.
Jamie has been actively working with all his clients, providing expert financial advice and building a successful financial planning business. He is passionate about helping clients achieve financial freedom through structured personal financial planning and strategic wealth creation.
He has developed and implemented unique wealth programs that have helped clients achieve greater wealth than they first imagined. Jamie finds great satisfaction in celebrating his clients’ achievements, especially when they reach financial freedom. For Jamie and his clients, financial freedom is building enough wealth so they don’t have to go to work if they don’t want to!
Qualifications and professional memberships
Jamie has completed his professional studies and is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and a member of the Financial Advice Association Australia (FAAA). Jamie is also a member of MDRT and actively involved in committee work with them.
Additionally, Jamie is also an Accredited Mortgage Broker and member of the FBAA. This dual expertise allows him to deliver both financial advice and tailored debt solutions, ensuring clients receive a complete and effective plan for building wealth and managing finances.

Jamie combines his role as a financial advisor with his deep understanding of personal financial planning to create personalised and unique goal-driven strategies for every client.
Outside of work
Jamie is a Life Member of the Newtown and Chilwell Football and Netball Club and continues to be actively involved in coaching his sons in junior football. He is married with four school-age children and enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf, and supporting the Geelong Cats.
